Art Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy in the field of art education is based on the fact that all students are unique and special, they should have a stimulating educational environment in which they can grow and develop as independent individuals. All students are unique, they have special needs and learning styles, and yet they differ from each other in the way they learn. I am sure that every student is talented, and I create an atmosphere in which students can reach their full potential and talent, because everyone has something special that they can bring to their own education. In my teaching philosophy, most likely, a lot of time will be devoted to helping each student reach their highest potential. I will help my students express themselves in art and develop their own artistic language, which will be relevant for each of the students.  My approach to teaching involves hands-on activities and collaborative learning, combined with in-depth study. This approach equips students with a broad range of technical abilities, while also providing them with individual projects, diverse topics, and a focus on personal work. This approach engages students in the educational process, enhancing the effectiveness of learning and making it more meaningful. It fosters self-development, allowing students to grow and discover new things about themselves. As a mentor with many years of experience, I will be able to encourage them to think “outside” their comfort zone and feel involved in their own learning process. I believe that there are several important and basic elements that contribute to the learning process of students. My role as a teacher in the learning process is to act as a guide, mentor and assistant accompanying a student on a creative journey. Students should be absolutely free in their choice and be able to follow their own curiosity, be ready for experiments that will help them direct the learning process in the right direction. Students learn step by step and practice the skills acquired in my classes to achieve their goals and solve problems.  The practical classes present various artistic techniques, classical, traditional and modern trends, etc. The classes explore topics such as still life, portrait and landscape. individual projects on a free topic. I conduct various classes for both beginners and more advanced artists.
